Never Been to Paris is a clothing brand that I founded in 2021. It started as a personal dream that I was eventually able to realize with the help of supportive and inspiring people around me.
The concept behind the brand was to produce sustainable, comfortable, unisex jogging clothing. Printed on the back of the garments was the quote: “Your fear of looking stupid is holding you back.” This is one of my personal favorite quotes. This mindset has taken me to many more places than I would have reached if I had been too afraid to fail.
After the first collection completely sold out, I produced a second collection. After much consideration, I decided to take the website—something we had built with a lot of care and love—offline after about a year, as my interests had shifted. The remaining products were only available in a store in Eindhoven.
It was a fantastic project, and I learned an incredible amount from the experience.
