In February 2023, I traveled to Morocco. For a long time, it had been a dream of mine to visit this country, and together with one of my close friends I was finally able to make it happen. By car, we crossed the country from the Atlantic coast to the Sahara Desert, and back again.
By talking with people and visiting their families, my experience of the country became much richer and more meaningful. The hospitality I encountered was something I tried to capture in the documentary People of Imsouane. Imsouane is the small coastal town where I spent the first five days of my journey.
